The heart and soul of any party in Age of Conan is The Conqueror. In a party they fill two roles, one as an awesome fighter dealing out damage, and two as a inspiration to the group with their magic and presence.
Conquerors tend to be more offensive minded as a fighting class. Preferring to use two handed weapons or dual wielding. They can wear any type of armor but do not use shields. Unlike Barbarians which try to deal huge amounts of damage quickly, Conquerors are a bit more conservative and have abilities that benefit the entire party.
Conquerors wielding two-handed weapons make for tremendous fighters in their own right, and there’s always the matter of that huge sword they’re carrying, but they also gain a number of combos making them even harder to defeat. Dancing Steel, Furious Strikes, Concussive Attacks, and Heroic Call to name a few.
Those who opt for two weapons rather than one are no less vicious. Dual-wielding conquerors have twice the weaponry, but they also have several unique combos of their own. Rallying Strike and Rhythm or War are a just a couple of the many combos they gain.
Conquerors aren’t just deadly fighters. The Conquerors have beneficial auras that surround them and all friends within range. Some auras are offensive in natures adding to the damage dealt by the party. Some are more of buffing auras granting various benefits to the party. Conquerors can have a single combative aura and a single augmentative aura running simultaneously.
