Robin Hood movie description:
Robin Hood’s adventures will introduce us to the life chronicles of an experienced archer who originally had his own instinct of self-preservation while serving in King Richard’s army fighting against the French. After Richard’s death Robin goes to Nottingaham, the city suffering from a corrupt despot sheriff who tortured people with high taxes, where he falls in love with an energetic widow Lady Marion who was rather skeptical about Robin’s desire to arrange a public campaign against the wealthy rulers of the city. Hoping to conquer Lady Marion and save the village, Robin gathers a team of mercenaries with deadly skills. Together they begin to hunt the upper class representatives to eliminate injustice which makes simple peasant suffer.

However, Robin Hood and his team get into a great adventure. Their country, weakened by long wars and being in the state of constant war awareness because of the new king poor governance, becomes vulnerable to riots from within and to treats from far. It is impossible to predict where the new heroes will have to go to prevent their country from being drawn into the bloody civil war and return the former glory to England.

“Robin Hood” is the movie by Ridley Scott based on the Robin Hood legends with Russle Crow in the main role. The film release is scheduled for May 14, 2010. Work on the movie begain in 2007 when Universal bought the script called “Nottingham” which told about heroic Sheriff of Nottingham, who was supposed to be Crow. Scott did not like the script which lead to delay in filming and during 2008 it was re-written in the story of Robin Hood who became a criminal preserving the role of the sheriff as a part of the story. “Nottingham” was renamed to make the movie name look more traditional.

In the age of modern developments the film industry is one of the most progressing. Now we can see DVD movies of different genres, companies and producers so we have a great variety to choose from. This is why some of us even get confused when we see the list of available DVD movies. Another choice we have to make is: is it better to watch the DVD movies at home on a DVD player or go to the movie theatre. The answer depends on more than one factor.
Firstly, it is important to know what genre the film belongs to. If it is a comedy, a thriller or a drama we can watch it in the movie theatre where the acoustics gives you the impression that the whole audience is a close circle of friends. But not everyone would like watching a horror movie on the big screen, specially people who afraid of darkness anyway.
Another issue to consider would be the goal of watching the movie. If you want to enjoy the quiet family time or the romantic moment with your beloved, the best choice in this case would be a cozy home sofa and a DVD Movie. But if you wish to laugh or cry with a larger group of friends, then choosing movie theatre would be evident.
Next thing to be considered is: DVD Movies or in the movie theatres at the given period of time.
We should keep in mind however that some people have acoustics and screens at home which are very close to movie theatres. In this case they do not even have to make a choice.
But it is a matter of personal choice and preference so there is no one definite opinion about that. The most important is who you watch the movie with.

The new 2010 is a very promising year regarding new movies and cartoons. The producers and directors do not stop to surprise us in all genres.
The first of 2010 movies is “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time”. It is the movie based on the famous computer game. Young Prince Dastan has always defeated his enemies in the fights, but lost the kingdom because of the machinations of the treacherous courtier. Now Dastan will have to steal from the evildoers powerful magical artifact which can turn back the time and make his owner master of the world. Dastan’s brilliant skills with knives as well as remarkable ability on acrobatics and juggling will help him.
Another 2010 movie that is going to be presented in February 2010 is “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” fantastic movie. The film is based on the first book by Rick Riordan from the series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”. The “Thieves” main character is the boy who found out that his family originates from the Greek God. Accompanied by a satyr and his daughter Athena, he sets off on a dangerous trip to reconcile the gods. Throughout the movie whole army of mythological enemies tries to stop brave man. He also meets his father and an oracle predicting the betrayal of a friend. It is going to be one of great 2010 movies.
The next one of 2010 movies is “You Can’t Handle the Tooth” is a family comedy about the hockey player nicknamed Tooth Fairy. The nickname was earned by the habit to beat the opponent’s teeth out. But when the athlete breaks the hopes of a young talent, he has to spend a week in the image of the Tooth Fairy – with wings and magic wand, incidentally remembering his forgotten dreams.
These are just some of the 2010 movies novelties presented to the curious movie fans this year. But many other 2010 movies in different genres are expecting understanding and appreciation as well as their cast and producers.
