As soon as bored English teacher Jessica Donovan meet former champion, swing dance medalist Jake, a spark of mutual sympathy appears between them.

Both feel that they can fill the emptiness in the lives of one another. But Jessica has a workaholic fiancé who loves her and supports her financially and Jake has his former dance partner Koreen who does not want to let him go attracting him with the perspective of reviving fading relationships. Jake and Jessica have to overcome all romantic or some other kinds of obstacles trying to reach the main goal – win the first prize in the World Dancing Contest and win the hearts of each other.
