The game World of Warcraft unfortunately begins at the end-game level. Everything you do before that (leveling/quiesting, doing instances,…) is just there to learn your class how to play. So everyone wants to level up as fast as possible. There are many factors that affect the speed of leveling to be considered. It is important which quests to take, which talent tree to choose for the specific class and so on.
Fast Way to Level up a Warlock – What is the best talent tree?
Warlock is a one of the pure DPS (damage dealers) classes. So you may think that it is not important which talent tree to choose, as long as they are all for doing damage. But that is not true. The big factor while leveling is mana efficiency. This means that you need a talent tree that you don’t need to drink (for mana regeneration ) so often. And far the best is Affliction talent tree.
Being Affliction Warlock, you have boosted your damage over time spells (DoTs). With talents “Soul Siphon” and “Siphon Life” you become very good health drainer. So when you “Tap” (this is a Warlock’s unique ability to turn health into mana) you can easily recover your lost health. When I leveled my Warlock I didn’t need to stop for drinking at all. I had ZERO downtime and I leveled up really fast.
Some people prefer to level up as a Demonology. I tried but it was slower. And a bit less interesting because your pet does all the job. I was just not fun for me.
The last tree is Destruction which I warmly recommend that you stay away from it while leveling. It is so mana inefficient that you can lose your nerves.
Fast Way to Level up a Warlock – Questing?
Yes! Questing is the best and fastest way of getting XPs (experience points). But you must be aware of the fact that Blizzard created a huge amount of quests with the intent to slow you down. These quests reward you with little XP and take you a lot of time to complete them.
